Hancom Mobility, a subsidiary of Hancom MDS, announced on the 6th that it has attracted an investment of 10 billion won from NH PE (NH Investment & Securities PE Headquarters).

Hancom Mobility is a domestic IoT (Internet of Things) shared parking company, and operates 'ParkingFriends' service, a shared parking platform that detects entry-and-exit information of parking spaces from vehicle through IoT sensors and provides its space information for parking. 'ParkingFriends' provides from a parking space information for search to the reservation, and payment services to consumers, and provides analysis data on parking spaces to parking lot owners to support efficient unmanned management of their parking spaces.

With this investment, Hancom Mobility plans to develop a prediction service that combines artificial intelligence and big data technology, while promoting marketing to expand parking spaces and users.

Hancom Mobility was selected as an IoT shared parking company in Seoul last year. IoT shared parking business is being implemented in 14 district offices in Seoul, including Yeongdeungpo-gu, Guro-gu, Jung-gu, Songpa-gu, and Gangnam-gu. In addition, ithas signed up for the business agreements with Busan Jin-gu, Busan Jung-gu, Gwangju Buk-gu, and Namyangju-si to provide IoT shared parking services, and plans to expand the service range to 31 local governments in Gyeonggi-do and 6 major metropolitancities in Korea.

CEO of Hancom Mobility, said, "I think this is the first external investment and was recognized for Hancom Mobility's technology and competitiveness". And he added, "In the future, we will focus on preparing for expanding the service and user by further enhancing the technology and attempting to combine it with various fields."
